Elizabeth Johnson has taught kid’s drawing for over 14 years. Her goals are to teach your child to see the world with a more creative eye, to stretch their artistic self confidence, and to build a foundation for further artistic study. Emphasis is placed on creative individuality in a positive, encouraging, and fun environment.

Art teaches children to express themselves, to think through a project before acting, and it builds their self esteem. Studies have shown that students studying the arts do better in other subjects as well. Elizabeth’s approach to teaching encourages creativity and individuality. She teaches skills, lays an artistic foundation, and helps children to discover their own style. These lessons allow room for each child to progress as an individual, be it accelerated or a more gentle pace. Emphasis is on a positive and non-competitive atmosphere.
